Sheryl Sandberg Instagram – Yesterday, thousands from our community gathered to march against antisemitism. Young and old, Jews and non-Jews, stood shoulder to shoulder — united in ensuring hope and tolerance can triumph over cynicism and hatred. The solidarity moved me to tears, more than once. In my lifetime, I have given many speeches about bias and discrimination. But this was my first-ever speech about antisemitism. As Jews, we say “Never Again.” But never again cannot mean “never again will we allow another Holocaust to happen.” It has to mean “Never again will we allow hate against any group to be tolerated.” And unity is the key to making that happen. It will take all of us to create a world free from racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, homophobia — from fear and bigotry in every form. A world where everyone can be proud of who they are. In times as difficult as these, this march gave me hope.
