Generational differences, conflicts of ideologies or mere lack of respect does often cause the death of those delicate relationships, leaving both the parties empty hearted. Years pass. Mortals age. And one fine morning when they wake up, they finally decide to patch up, mend the broken bonds or bridge the gap. But unfortunately it gets too late by then.
It’s then that the life happens. Realisation hits. And they learn to accept, to grow greater than those dissimilarities, breaking off the invisible shackles of pride and prejudice, re-establishing the fact that Time is the ultimate king.
Abhijit Sridas’s Bijoyar Pore tells of a story about nurturing innocence, preserving the contacts and celebrating the union of people under a single roof.
Deepankar De and Mamata Shankar are phenomenal, as they are always. But the person to have completely outdone herself is undoubtedly Swastika Mukherjee.
The visual usage of metaphor deserves to have its mention separately for its own credibility. Few of them are included in the collage shared above.
