Taya Rogers Instagram – Took myself on a little matcha date 🍵📝💘 to get some life planning done & realized I can count on one hand the number of solo dates I’ve been on in the past 3 years. It’s astounding considering I love going on solo dates: enjoying a cup of something good with only a notebook or book to keep me company.

But mom guilt is real & even though I know deep down these moments alone are so important for my well being it just seems easier said than done. I constantly end up deciding that I can get alone time once the kids go to bed but really that’s when I’m doing dishes, tidying up, prepping for the next day, spending time with Mika, or watching something then going to bed 🥱

I told myself I’d do better by me this year- get back into a good fitness routine, start journaling again, reclaim some much needed me time in my schedule. So far so good but it’s a struggle. In case any of you mamas out there are with my in this beautiful struggle, just wanted to let you know I see you 🫶🏽 I feel you 🙏🏽 I am you 👊🏽 And we got this.
