Introducing Affirmed, ELLE’s series guest edited by actor and writer @tommy.dorfman that explores gender-affirming care in all its many forms. For Dorfman, who publicly came out as transgender in 2021, affirmation comes from collaborating with other trans artists, like model @memphy, whom she photographed for ELLE. For others featured in Affirmed, like burlesque dancer @jakedupree and comedian @alokvmenon, performing on stage is their safe space.
