Chippi memories. She’s still in the boarding with a beautiful family where she went post-Diwali 2023. (Second pic). She has become a wonderful part of their loving family. They’ve even trained her to walk on a leash. Also, the road in my locality where she first lived has been dug up for metro work. And so much has changed for her original owners who are/were street vendors on that same road. They’ve lost their livelihood and we’re trying to get them back on their feet. The first pic was taken on Diwali 2021 I think. Chippi lives in my heart and not a day goes by when we don’t look at her videos sent by her current family and shed happy tears. Dad also loves her a lot, maybe even more than I do. Coming to see you soon again, dearest Chippi girl! Be happy! (I won’t say where are is, since the current boarders don’t want to be publicised).

I decided this new year to be in my essence all day long, however hard that may be. Whether it is losing opportunities or people, creating something in the middle of the night, staying true to your hobbies and passions, taking your own time on things, asking for something that you want, leaving a place that you feel bored at.
I decided this new year to be in my essence all day long, however hard that may be. Whether it is losing opportunities or people, creating something in the middle of the night, staying true to your hobbies and passions, taking your own time on things, asking for something that you want, leaving a place that you feel bored at.
Do you find yourself thinking more and more that life should not be a continuous hustle? That a relaxed morning coffee is worth more than the adrenaline rush of a morning flight? That your body being at ease is worth more than an evening full of meetings? That spending time with your kids is worth more than an employee of the month at office? As the years go by, I’m finding peace in less. Doing less, being less, consuming less. Are we aging or maturing faster as a generation? Can’t say if it’s all for the good or bad but I can definitely see the tectonic plates on the work-life balance sphere shifting heavily. People are waking up to peace rather than hustle as a way of life.
