And while I will be having scans every 3 mths…I am good 👍🏽 Peeps, there I was after my scan, I left the hospital and had the uncontrollable ugly cry…it was tears of joy 😊 I feel like a warrior, I feel like I can conquer the world. I feel like how did I get through this year…I guess the answer is, positive mind set. Truth is, I started believing in a higher power, can’t really explain it but I feel this energy 🙏🏽 And I don’t know how to show my gratitude to the team at UHN, but all I can say is thank you ❤️ And everyone who lifted me up through one of the hardest journey’s in my life, thank you. Sangita Patel Instagram - Well…I got my pathology report ❤️ Breathe ❤️…okay so right before this trip, I received the news my suspicious lump was malignant - Cancer ❤️ Yeah… Good news the lump is out but with this type of diagnosis I still have a few more hurdles to face. Last few weeks has tested me physically and mentally and my emotions has been a rollercoaster. This moment sitting down surrounded by blue skies - was really the first time speaking the ‘C’ word as my story❤️ I have the best team of doctors, my blessing of a family and friends. I know I’m going to be fine, conquer this journey. On the day the team found out about the ending of our show, I was having my pre-op appt yup, I’m having surgery❤️ A while back I talked about a lump on my thyroid. Everything seem to be fine after the biopsy but as it continued to grow I saw a specialist - so for someone like me who doesn’t have thyroid disease and recent findings of ‘suspicious elements’ within the nodule, I need to take this sucker out… Here’s to a quick recovery and to a successful surgery. I would say this is the best selfie I’ve taken…even though it looks like I took a good southpaw hook😊 Surgery took 4 hours, eek rather than two, made me nervous that there was more involved but it went really well - now we wait for the pathology report. THANK YOU to the incredible team at Toronto Western you took such good care of me from the moment I arrived to leaving. Nurse Layna made me giggle she said I look 31 😊 My surgeon was absolutely the best, his kindest put me at ease before the surgery. He is the only Canadian doc who does the TOETVA (Transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy vestibular approach) which is through the mouth and not the neck - insane technology. Success, hope to heal quickly, hit the gym, have a Big Mac, lol And thank you for the love, it’s uplifting. Means a lot ❤️ #SurgeryComplete #SuckerIsOut

Last few weeks has tested me physically and mentally and my emotions has been a rollercoaster. This moment sitting down surrounded by blue skies - was really the first time speaking the ‘C’ word as my story❤️ I have the best team of doctors, my blessing of a family and friends. Caption : Well…I got my pathology report ❤️ Breathe ❤️…okay so right before this trip, I received the news my suspicious lump was malignant – Cancer ❤️ Yeah… Good news the lump is out but with this type of diagnosis I still have a few more hurdles to face. Last few weeks has tested me physically and mentally and my emotions has been a rollercoaster. Today was a turning point for me as my chest is doing so much better.
