✨ Wanted to take a quick moment to get personal for a second. So much of my social media is curated. You see what I want you to see. I don’t share the days I’m struggling or dealing with hard days, but they happen. Oh, they happen a LOT. So much of my persona has been about presenting a “perfect” illusion for people, and let me be the first one to admit that I’m the FARTHEST thing from perfect. This past year has been so hard. So much struggle, BUT so much triumph. I’m happy today. I took nearly a year and a half away from drag when we locked down to focus on myself away from the drag and to remind myself why I do what I do. I’ve truly fallen back in love with drag again. I’m not sure when it clicked, BUT one of the main reasons I love what I do is because of the COMMUNITY that supports me and rallies behind me. My Indy people are my chosen family, and you all make this job so much more special. I’m truly honored to get to do what I love to do and to share it with you. From YEARS of being criticized, hated, torn down, and going through my 20s in the entertainment industry, I’ve found peace and made a home.
