MUTTER ICH BIN DUMM (II) 90 x 55 cm Acrylic on frosted glass with welded steel frame – On the morning of January 3, 1889, F. Nietzsche left his house in Turin to go to the center of the city. On his way he witnessed a scene that caught his attention: a coachman mistreating his horse, which, very tired, did not want to continue the march. Nietzsche threw his arms around the horse’s neck and burst into tears. His last words before he fell unconscious were: “Mother, I am a fool” (“Mutter ich bin dumm”).
