Our media volunteers took a look inside the flotilla. Soon, this ship will be carrying hundreds of members of the public to a besieged Gaza. With increasing concern about the safety of our participants at the hands of Israeli authorities, we would like to remind our governments that they can end the genocide and deliberate starvation of Palestinians right now. #endthesiege #breakthesiege #freedomflotilla #ffc #freepalestine
šØEmail Your Elected Official: The Christians in Palestine are being wiped out šØ
While mainstream media and politicians across the spectrum often portray the Palestine āconflictā as a Muslim versus Jewish struggle, this oversimplification is, at best, uneducated and, at worst, a manipulation of the truth to protect Zionism.
The oppression of Christians in Gaza is not a recent development, but it has been exacerbated by Israelās blockade, which has led to a decline in living conditions and access to essential services. This blockade, in effect for 17 years, has contributed to the erosion of the Christian community in Gaza through illness, isolation, and, tragically, death.
On October 19th, Israel bombed the Church of Saint Porphyrius, Gazaās oldest, killing at least 18 people. Despite the Israeli armyās statement that the church was not the target of the attack, Diana Tarazi, a 38-year-old Palestinian Christian, expressed disbelief, stating, āThe missile fell directly on it. We cannot believe that the church was not their aim.ā
Pope Francis has repeatedly used the term āterrorismā to describe Israeli actions in Gaza, including the killing of unarmed civilians taking shelter in churches. In his Christmas Day appeal, the Pope called for āan end to the military operations with their appalling harvest of innocent civilian victims.ā
The persecution of Christians in Palestine is not a new phenomenon but has deep historical roots, dating back to the Nakba of 1948. Despite facing ongoing challenges, both Muslim and Christian Palestinians continue to demonstrate resilience and hope in the face of adversity, embodying the spirit of perseverance that has defined their struggle for generations.

First clip is from Columbia university president.
NYC!!! Our leadership is lying, misleading manipulating intimidating silencing punishing and targeting students for standing against this massacre on children women men and land.
We will not stand idly by and watch a genocide happen before our eyes. The foundation for which we resist is not just empathy and love but because of our education of the holocaust and the genocide of Jews in the fifth grade. We resist the massacre because of what we know in our heart and what we have been taught by the same educational systems that are silencing us for embodying what we learned about the sanctity of life.
Pro war attitudes have always been and always will be hostile and anti-living because this is the behavior that such a thinking evokes. Pro war is always war.
The cycle for which universities use the funds of their students and invest it in violence- maintains a system that normalizes the cycle of war and violence into the minds hearts and work of ordinary every day students in order that the transfer of this legacy of war and imperialism continues.
We are witnessing the generational imperial war doctrine collapse with the leadership of the righteous refusal of students, professors, staff of all kinds. It is our duty to protect them, stand with them, and to continue to reveal the mechanisms that enable the world that we all know must change for better.
They are the change for the better and we are the change for the better when we stand by them. The youth, will inherit power, and we must protect them as they work to cultivate a justice, truth, care & love ethic.

⢠@workingfamilies Why are so many Democratic politicians afraid to speak out against the Israeli government?
A Republican-funded acronym: AIPAC
Nine of the top ten donors to AIPACās Super PAC are Republican billionaires and Trump megadonors.
Theyāre the same donors funding anti-abortion, anti-IVF, pro-NRA Republicans.
Now, AIPAC is planning to spend $100 million against a handful of Black and brown Democratic incumbents.
Spending in Democratic primaries to unseat progressives for supporting policies that prioritize the needs of the working class. Doesnāt make much sense, does it.
Itās time to #RejectAIPAC

We canāt find a dossier big enough to contain all weāve witnessed, felt, known, been gaslit with, enraged byā¦
But this is brilliant advice and I urge you to take it x
āWe need to be clear and Iām asking the media to do its job in reporting that Israelās siege on Gaza is illegal.
It is a form of collective punishment which is a war crime.
Even before October 7th, Israelās 17 year hermetic closure of Gaza which included the naval blockade was also a form of collective punishment, a war crime yet for nearly two decades our governments have stood by and allowed Israel to act in such a way as to strangle the life out of Gaza.ā

Faris Odeh was a Palestinian boy who became a symbol for the Palestinian resistance during the second intifada after he was shot and killed at Karni crossing by the Israeli occupation forces. Odeh confrended the Israeli military and threw stones at their tank for killing his 17 year old cousin Shadi on 29, October 2000.
Odehās friends watched him pick up a stone when he was hit in the neck with a bullet and because he was so close to an Israeli tank they had to wait an hour before they felt it was safe to remove his body and load it into an ambulance. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
