“Jake Graf and Hannah Graf MBE are one of the UK’s most visible transgender families. Marrying in 2018, they soon welcomed their two daughters into the world via surrogacy, documenting their journey in the hit Channel 4 documentary, ‘Our Baby: A Modern Miracle.’ The couple’s autobiography ‘Becoming Us’ was published by Hodder Books in 2023. Jake and Hannah speak internationally on trans rights and visibility, queer parenting and the importance of LGBTQIA visibility”.
❓We asked, why do you want to work with Not A Phase?
“As transgender people, we have long since witnessed the declined in acceptance and understanding for our community, largely fuelled by the media and government. We were also aware of a worrying lack of support for transgender adults across the UK at one of the most challenging times in our history. Not A Phase came along at just the right time. They offer support, empowerment and a strong network that not only connects trans folks but also lifts them when they’re struggling. The Not A Phase team are a positive, upbeat and powerful force of support for trans people in a world where that is needed more than ever”.
