Jonathan Bennett Instagram – Dear Sir Robin, I’m going to miss you. You have taught me so much over the past 88 performances. You have taught me to believe in myself in ways I never thought were possible. You have taught me to trust the process of performance especially the rehearsal because that IS the journey. You have reminded me to listen and be present with myself and my surroundings. You have taught me to love myself and to truly find pride in myself. I always say I’m proud of myself; but you taught me what that actually feels like to be. You taught me it’s never too late to achieve your dreams. Sir Robin, you are the knight that’s afraid to fight; but what I discovered in our time together, is you’re not afraid of fighting, your heart’s just in a different place. It doesn’t have a passion for fighting, it has a passion for musical theater and for entertaining people and bringing joy and laughter to them. That’s your grail. Thank you for letting me bring your joy and laughter to thousands of people during this run. You say, “I too have found my grail, musical theater!” Sir Robin, I am honored that I got to help you find your grail every night, but I am forever grateful for the rest of my life, that YOU helped me find mine.
