Visiting my incredible team (and some career long friends) at @warnerrecords. They even put my mug on their very large tv before I stole the remote and changed it to To Catch A Smuggler: Peru. There was a guy who claimed he was just visiting a girlfriend and was super confident but ultimately yep he had cocaine in his shorts and luggage anyway thanks for having me!

I was honored to receive their impact award for our joint vision to give young people the gift of access to the arts to open up their hearts and minds and the world around them. At @fylfoundation we’re immensely proud to support them. It was also a total thrill to share the stage with incomparable artists like @rhiannongiddens, @andradaymusic, @tajmahalblues and @michaelbearden’s spectacular band. Thanks all who came out to support and especially to my dear friend and @lachsa_official teacher Dr. Lois Hunter for presenting me with the award and telling such a fun story about my life long struggle with dancing 😅. Oh also, in the first picture I’m playing an incredible portable drum set for students that @davewish27 invented! It fits in a single bucket and sounds awesome.
