After all, he was the only one with a camera way back when. 🛹 The Ollie over the rail down the steps was for the front cover of @readanddestroy taken by @wigworland at the museum steps Cardiff. Mallorcan Mondays 🛹🏋️♂️ The day I left for Spain I had a proper dodgy foot/ankle and didn’t know what the f*** was wrong with it as I no recollection of injuring it but I was gutted. Packed all my training/running/skateboard hoping to get a weeks worth of good movement in and it was looking sketchy. After two days of sea swimming and cross trainer action I’m good to go today. I’m putting it down to old age. Quick search on the net to find an outdoor park and there’s one 10 mins from my hotel and it’s an absolute beauty of a park plus there’s an outdoor gym with pull up bars etc right opposite it. The perfect set up 👌🏽 Wake up, train, skate, sun then breakfast. 👊🏽 #Skateboarding #Exercise #Spain
Scaffel Pike ✅ Yesterday hike up to Scaffel Pike was mega. Nursing some D.O.M’s from Snowdon but after a few ft of climbing we were all good. This morning mind my legs are rocking mun 😂. Weather was perfect, little cold up top but didn’t hang around too much to find out. I took the right hand path which needed a bit of all fours climbing but that was by far the fun way up. Beautiful mountain, much steeper than my Snowdon climb and more challenging but that’s what it’s all about. Last push up to Invergordon this morning to see @luke.stoltman & @tomstoltmanofficial to get a taste of what they do on the daily. I wonder if I’ll be picking up a massive concrete atlas ball today? Time will tell but I know a cold water dip is in order. Hitting the road for a week 🚚⛺️ Tomorrow morning I’m hitting the road to see what it’s like to live the “van life” and “Off grid” in this country. Making my way slowly from south Wales all the way to Scotland. I’m filling my camper van with my skateboard, running/gym/hiking/swimming gear and some basic cooking utensils to cook my evening meal. Got put through a workout by this absolute UNIT and survived 😂 I’ve followed @martynfordofficial on here for a few years and seen his dedication to training and always wanted him to put me through one of his sessions. We were gonna do it a few years ago but didn’t get round to it but today we did and it was a beauty. We rocked a chest and arms workout and it’s safe to say I’ll be sore in the morning 😂. Lots of shouting, grunting, gurning, foot tapping, shaking, loud music 💪🏽💪🏽 I’m currently heading north for the evening to find a spot to bed down for the night and have a plan for the morning. Earn your lunch 🥗🥑🥦 Sat on my hotel roof the other day and eye spied a long steep set of stairs (613) going from the beach to the top of the hill. Perfect late morning mission to earn my lunch. Went to visit @donnaveganacafe to fuel up and what a gaff. Really clean, great artwork, great service and the food was stunning. “Gee’s” 60th surprise party I haven’t been to see @gordonbcm & @cleodiamante_1 for about 6 years. So when Cleo said she was sorting him out a surprise birthday we hopped over to Mallorca. I’ve had some unbelievably good times with Gee over the years since he booked us for a gig at BCM many years ago. The party’s in that office followed by the after parties at his gaff were mega. Many flights were missed back then just because we never wanted the party to end. Day 2 on the road Conwy to the outskirts of Birmingham to meet up with @martynfordofficial and get absolutely beasted at his personal gym. Leg day next 😉 Back into my @cymrucamperfurniture and headed north to Morecambe so I could spend the evening by the sea, get some shopping and cook in the van. I think I was still buzzing from that workout as it took till about 1.30am to pass out. Today I move further north and looking to do Scafell pike. I’ve only done this mountain once so looking forward to hitting it up again. Legs still sore from Yr Wyddfa but I’ll manage.
