River Medway Instagram – yesterday i turned 26 and i’m so grateful for the life i have. with everything i have achieved in my career, i sometimes can’t help but think at what cost? unfortunately when you work as a performer, you are only allowed to be grateful for the opportunity, so not very often do we speak about how negatively things can affect you which can feel very isolating.
i have had to make so many sacrifices; missed birthdays, weddings, graduations, sleepless nights, lost friendships.
i’ve come to realised what really is important in life and what makes me happy. certain things can’t fill voids even though they feel like they can. i’m so lucky to have really great friends and family.
now i have a job that i absolutely adore and it’s a pleasure to work with such a fantastic cast and crew in @unfortunatemusical every night.
tomorrow we get the keys to our house, which sounds insane but i’m so looking forward to this new start!
