Great morning, It’s time for another Monday #MomDukesMsg so here it is. —> 🙏🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 Family & Friends, May you begin your new day with a renewed spirit, a fresh vision and peace in your heart. God bless you! Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6 Tomorrow Starts Today Focusing on several guidelines that can make today and next year better than previous ones. Here’s how: GUIDELINE 1: Live today. Some live in the past; others in the future. A paraphrase of Matthew 6:34 puts it like this: “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow”(The Message). Live today. GUIDELINE 2: Say it today. Some folks, though they care, miss saying encouraging words. Make it a daily practice to tell people—say it, write it—words of encouragement. GUIDELINE 3: Pray about it today. “O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer,” wrote hymn writer Joseph Scriven. GUIDELINE 4: Refuse to worry about it today. Pray about what worries you, reminding yourself that God is far greater than your problem, and He can do what you can’t. Let God engineer your life. GUIDELINE 5: Smell the flowers today. This helps you put life in perspective and live to a ripe old age. GUIDELINE 6: Trust God today. Tomorrow isn’t as important as today. Can you say, “God, just for today, I’m going to trust You with all my heart! I refuse to live tomorrow until it comes”? “Therefore,” said Jesus, “do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself” (Matthew 6:34). GUIDELINE 7: Have a blessed day today. And I am confident you will when you follow these simple but effective guidelines because God blesses the one who puts Him first and walks in the light of His Word. Great morning, Today is an awesome day for another #Monday #MomDukesMsg! 🙏🏾—>👇🏾 ———- God hears what is not spoken and understands what is not explained, for His love doesn’t work in the lips or in the mind, but in the heart. “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 Take God Out of the “Emergency Only” Box! I used to spend time with God once in awhile or when my life was in big trouble. Eventually I learned that if I ever wanted to stop living from one emergency to the next, I needed to seek God every day as if I were in desperate need of Him. It’s true that God will always help us when we come to Him. But if we want constant victory, we need to take God out of our “emergency only” box and invite Him into our everyday lives. God wants us to get personal with Him. He proves this by the fact that He lives within us. When Jesus died on the cross, He opened the way for us to get personal with almighty God. If God had wanted an “emergency only” relationship, He might just visit on occasion, but He certainly would not have come to take up permanent residence within us. What an awesome thought! God is your personal friend! Will you remove Him from the “emergency only” box today? Prayer: Lord, I know that the Christian life is so much more than an “emergency only” back-up plan. Because You live within me, I want to know You as a personal friend. Rather than just calling on You when I’m in trouble, I want to seek You every single day. Great morning, I’m feeling like it’s time for a Monday #MomDukesMsg —> 🙏🏾👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 • God gave us a new day with a new beginning and with a positive attitude. Smile and be HAPPY! Psalm 18:2 <—- 👀 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10 The Lord Is Your Strength We must realize that part of Satan’s plan for end-time believers is to make us weary. Daniel 7:25 gives a vivid description of a vision the prophet Daniel received regarding the last days: “And he ‘shall wear out the saints of the Most High’” (AMP). But God wants you to be encouraged. Romans 8:37 (AMP) gives Christians this good news: “Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.” ‘More than conquerors’ means that before trouble ever starts, we already know who wins. I like that, don’t you? We can purpose in our hearts to maintain such an intimate relationship with God through prayer and His Word that we are constantly being strengthened by the power of His promises. Intimacy with God produces strong Christians who can outlast the devil! Live your life totally confident in God’s strength and have no fear of the trials that can produce weary warriors and fainting saints. Remain strong ‘in Him’ and in the power of His might.
