Anna Akana Instagram – Back on the road, back on STAGE after all these years with @jennifersterger has been so incredible & fulfilling. I am so, so grateful for a ✨sold out✨ tour. Truly. Jen made a heartfelt post that I’ll never live up to, but you should know that this hour wouldn’t be what it is without her. Her guidance, wit, wisdom & hilarity went into making this show shine. She helped craft jokes, solidify performance, and would often say “no, Anna, that’s too dark. Not everyone’s as traumatized as we are.” She has been my co-writer, my director, my coach & my friend. Thank you Jen, I don’t even have words to describe how much I love & admire you. You’re brilliant & funny & sharp as a knife. You’re like a sister to me – and that’s the highest regard I can really give anyone. For those of you who aren’t familiar with her work yet, be sure to catch her before she blows up.
