Blair Fowler Instagram – My senior thesis is a study on how sensorial experiences in the built environment can encourage healing in those enduring mental illness(es). Echo, the experiential center for healing and observation, is a 30,000 sq ft facility aimed to ground the user in the present moment, while honoring their personal past and motivating them to a fulfilling future. The scope of this project required full construction documents, renderings, programming and proposal. I also created this animation as a trailer for the beginning of my presentation. This has been the hardest 5 months of my life, but also the most rewarding. Shout out to my friend @taylorln for encouraging me every step of the way. She believed in me before I believed in myself.
