Busy Philipps Instagram – Chances are, if you’ve seen any BTS photos from Freaks&Geeks, my friend @gabesachs took them. He was a writer and producer on F&G and also our de facto in house photographer because by sheer luck, he also happened to be (still is) a real camera nerd and was never without one on set(swipe to see a few of my favorites) Yesterday, he was in nyc for the day and we had the best impromptu catch up and also were able to toast to the incredible talent and life of Joe Flaherty, who so sadly passed away earlier this week and who will be so missed and never ever forgotten…I love the kids in the pics Gabe took back then but also i’m so beyond grateful we had the opportunity to work with such incredible adults who truly treated us as if we were their own kids, in the best way possible. Especially Joe, whose own beloved daughter was around the same age as I was. He was just the most genuine and perfectly normal human in one way and then also an absolute comedic genius who could make any of us spit out our sodas with a punchline. ❤️
