Despite facing personal loss and great exhaustion, a young girl in Gaza is determined to help and feed the people around her. Lama is one of many community-based chefs who have shown bravery and resilience. They are the backbone of our hot meals program providing meals to displaced families in their immediate neighborhoods to ensure local delivery and safety. On average, a community-based team is feeding somewhere between 300-700 people a day.
