As we seek #JUSTICEFORKILLUA, let us also be vigilant in the campaign for humane forms of animal control and responsible pet ownership. ****** UPDATE ON #JUSTICEFORKILLUA Last Monday, PAWS and Killua’s fur-mom Vina filed a case against Anthony Solares who was caught on CCTV chasing after the dog and then beating Killua to death. The preliminary investigation is now being handled by the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Camarines Sur. Over the next few weeks, we are expecting a Resolution from the above mentioned office and we are also expecting that a subpoena will be issued for Solares We are grateful to volunteer lawyers from CamSur, Atty. Alyssa Mary John P. Abanes and Atty. Aldrin Carlos Niño A. Mereria, for their legal assistance.
