Frank Hester’s company has received £400 million in govt IT contracts and has donated £15 million to the Tory party. Last month it was revealed Hester said of Labour MP Diane Abbott that “she makes me want to hate all black women” and “she should be shot”. It’s now been revealed the Tories rewarded Hester with another contract for £4.4 million days later, even though the NHS England boss described his comments as “racist, sexist and violent”.
Grant Shapps Defence Secretary has said that Tories will find more than £20 billion of money by cutting civil servants and replacing them with IT. So more contracts for Sunak’s family firm Infosys, the Post Office scandal company Fujitsu (Infosys and Fujitsu have a partnership) and for Frank Hester I guess?
Rishi Sunak forces through the disgraceful Rwanda Bill costing us £500 million to send 200 refugees to Rwanda and then we will receive a similar number of people seeking asylum FROM Rwanda to the UK. Who’s profiting from all of this? The morning after the Bill was passed, Sunak tweets a ‘Happy St George’s Day’ message minutes after the report of 5 refugees, including a child, drowning in the Channel. Maybe just bad timing but ….
By the way, Ben Habib, deputy leader of the Reform UK Ltd Party tells Talk TV that he would leave refugees to drown rather than save them if a boat capsized in the Channel. Not a whiff of his comments in the Daily Mail or Express or Telegraph or BBC so far.

Ben Houchen, the Tory Teesside Mayor is up for election on May 2nd. Local entrepreneur and Middlesborough FC Chairman Steve Gibson who had supported Houchen in the past says that Houchen has ‘sold the future of generations’ when Houchen’s appalling deal for Teesworks and Freeport gifted £500 million to two businessmen. Gibson now supports Labour. If Houchen loses (polls say neck and neck with Labour) that could mean the end of Sunak.

A FEW DAYS IN THE TORY SEWER

VIP PPE LANE AND a demand for commission on sales
Victoria Aitken is the daughter of disgraced former Tory Minister for Defence Procurement Jonathan Aitken. Jonathan Aitken was sentenced in 1999 to 18 months in jail for perjury and perverting the course of justice. One of the allegations by Granada TV and the Guardian was that he had organised prostitutes for some businessmen.
More recently Victoria Aitken made introductions to Lord Agnew during Covid times on behalf of a company looking for a PPE contract. The company won a £880,000 contract through the VIP Lane. Victoria Aitken then sued the company for commission. The full story in our film.

HYPOCRITICAL CONSERVATIVE MP?
Wow. Watch this on @skynews. After his terrible showing on BBC Politics Live yesterday, @JamesDalyMP is becoming increasingly embarrassing.
He pushed the Greater Manchester Police to start an investigation into Angela Rayner’s council house affairs. GMP had already said they did not need to investigate.
Now James Daly is refusing to say what he wrote to them about. Absolutely pathetic.
Did James Daly ever ask police to investigate Michelle Mone or any of the other VIP Lane contracts. Nope – nothing to see here!!
Did James Daly ever ask about Nadhim Zahawi’s tax affairs? Nothing to see here.
Did James Daly ask about Michael Ashcroft (from whose book these so-called allegations began) what his position was being in the House of Lords as a non-dom even though it was claimed he was not? No he didn’t
Did he question Sunak’s wife remaining non-dom even when Sunak became Chancellor? No he didn’t.
In Dec 2023 James Daly said that most struggling children in his constituency of Bury are the “products of crap parents”
James Daly is the worst kind of Tory MP, along with many of his 2019 intake. His majority was just over 100 votes, now there have been constituency boundary changes, let’s hope the great people in Bury do what’s right and kick him out.
He calls for Angela Rayner to publish her tax advice. We’re calling on him now to #PublishTheLetter he wrote to the police otherwise he’s just anorher Tory hypocrite. Or is there another story here about a Tory MP being able to manipulate a police force?
Meanwhile more than 12 police officers are on this investigation. If it amounts to nothing I’d like to see James Daly be sued for wasting police time wouldn’t you?
Ps you won’t read about this in any Tory papers obviously.
THE DELUSIONAL LIZ TRUSS saying “when I go out and meet the public in the street, they tell me I was right “ and it’s all the fault of the left.
Couldn’t help but laugh on @LBC listening to yet another delusional piece from Liz Truss out selling her book.
I played it out as Tony Blair had described politics as potentially becoming a place just for the weird and the wealthy.
Do you think Truss fits into the weird category? Let me know
LBC – THE WEIRD AND THE WEALTHY
Politics is now in danger of becoming just for the weird and the wealthy – said Tony Blair in a Sunday Times interview yesterday.
So we looked into it on my @lbc show yesterday. Right now, Blair seems to be right.
First of all the wealthy
🔹Rishi Sunak whose family are billionaires (his wife’s family founded Infosys – she claimed non-dom tax status to save over £20 million in HMRC tax since he became MP in 2015)
🔹David Cameron – old Etonian
🔹Boris Johnson – old Etonian
🔹Kwasi Kwarteng -old Etonian
🔹Jacob Rees Mogg – old Etonian
2/3rds of both Boris Johnson’s and Rishi Sunak’s cabinets went to private school
Of 2019 Tory MPs, 11 went to Eton College.
You get what you vote for
Sunak has said we should judge him on his actions not on his wealth, so I mentioned a few of his actions by which I judge him.
– Using ‘donated’ private jets
– Not getting the train
– Cutting welfare spending
Then we looked at the Tory “weird”….jeez where do we start?
More to post later.
Join me every week @LBC Sunday 4-7pm
Happy Saturday.
I hope you’re having a lovely time with a bright blue sky wherever you are ☀️
I’m at home in Bristol and I love it here because it’s beautiful, I can see the hills and countryside from where I’m sitting. And yes, I’m right in the heart of our lovely city. Which is part student land, the buildings – because they’re so old – are a bit poshish. But there’s nothing posh about the heart of Bristol, it’s probably why I love it so much.
I’m busy finishing off my book, which is out on September 12th. It’s called OUT OF ORDER. it’s about politics. It’s lively. I hope it’s funny.
And it doesn’t hold back.
Anyway, sending love on Saturday ❤️
