They shared their strong stance on the Extended Producer Responsibility Federal policies (EPR) internally and with the Senate committee on Environment & Public Works. Scientist #DallasMatz also tested multiple samples from each location for micro-plastics & this data continues to serve propel initiatives and much needed research. @alexjschulze (4ocean founder), @grateful.grant @j@josh_liberman @henryrbliss @dominicmanzo & the entire crew do this clean-up work every day, they see the worst of what people discard carelessly and yet they approach each day with enthusiasm, a smile and inexplicable energy. I can’t express how inspired I was to see the passion shown in what could be (for most people) a very draining and disheartening experience. They are, despite all odds, bursting with hope. Influencers, public figures and individuals with countless privileges and opportunities to turn a blind eye to the situation, like this impressive group: @dr.evanantin @hofitgolanofficial @toddkrim @_katiemljohnson, but who nevertheless prefer to put their resources/efforts/time into furthering these causes… are so important in a world mostly focused on the personal gain.
