Christy Carlson Romano Instagram – For me, it was never about the followers, the news mentions, the merch. For years now, it has always been about the kids.

I’ve sat with a lot of emotions lately as I contemplate my gratitude for one
meaningful aspect of my platform, service. In a world where people are so quick to dismiss each other with harmful words and private agendas, no matter how hurt we are, we can always choose kindness. It pays out every time.

Having entered my 8th year of sobriety and my 40th year on this planet, I’ve always sought to serve my community even if I didn’t know how. Showing up healed me. While I’ve enjoyed sharing inside looks into my experiences with those outside of my niche community, I’ll be moving that part of my work offline and continue to advocate for high performing children at the root cause. Because the act of helping kids doesn’t need to have a face. It needs healthy adults working together to lead them. 🙏🏻
