Clea Shearer Instagram – It’s been one year since the mass shooting at Covenant shattered the lives of so many in Nashville, along with all of our hearts. Hearing the news that morning of an active gunman on campus, getting the updates about our own schools going into lockdown, receiving emails from our kids that they were terrified. And then to find out that 3 children and 3 members of faculty were brutally killed. It’s as unthinkable today as it was then. We all tied red and black ribbons to our mailboxes, and placed the “I stand with Covenant” yard signs in our lawn, but we can do better than that. Evelyn, Hallie, William, Mike, Cynthia, and Katherine deserve better than that. Call your legislators and ask them to act on common sense gun laws to prevent this from happening again (and again, and again). ♥️ Graphic via @thehomeedit
