Alone in Versailles 🪞 A truly magical moment in the palace of Versailles experiencing the Hall of Mirrors as I’ve always imagined it. Sunset trailing over the gardens and through the tall windows, reflecting off the mirrors and drenching the chandeliers in gold. All alone and feeling quite literally as though I’ve fallen through to another time.
This truly once-in-lifetime experience made was into reality by spending the night in Versailles.
Well, not exactly *in* the palace, but as close as you can get. I stayed at @airelleschateaudeversailles, which is right on the grounds of Versailles, just a short walk through the gardens to the palace itself. It’s a fully immersive experience that is any romantic’s dream come true.
More to come, but in the meantime – my heart is so full and I feel so grateful to have experienced this brief moment of magic.

Would love to make it, but as you can see – I’ve made plans. And those plans may or may not include include a bath, my phone on do not disturb, and slipping into some beautiful lingerie.
I’ve said it before, but there is nothing I love more than choosing gorgeous, comfortable, and delicate lingerie to wear – just for myself. This is fiction and what I imagine it would be like to ✨not✨ be be an overthinker who lies awake most nights replaying every social interaction I’ve ever had.
But all joking aside, bonjour from this DREAM of a room, at the absolutely incredible @airelleschateaudeversailles. You’d be forgiven for thinking this is actually inside the palace of Versailles because every single detail in this space makes you feel as though you’re living inside of a fantasy. The property is right on the grounds of the gardens, and in fact you can see the Orangeries right outside of your window.
I feel incredibly grateful to have had an invitation to stay for one night, and will be sharing a bit about the experience with you, including the (nearly) private tour of the Palace and gardens that you can take as a part of your stay. We were here for less than 24 hours but I’m betting you know that I took about 37281641 videos and photos during that time and will be sure to share them in a highlight too.

The in-between, when Spring isn’t quite here, but the small changes are there. Everything that has once muted is slowly turning green, and some days there’s a warmth in the evening air (if only for a little while) – all of it feeling like a gentle promise for days ahead.
This will be my third spring since I moved from California to New York, and it still is so fascinating to me to watch the world come to life. It’s not this green yet – this is a video from last year – but I’m starting to see the signs of it, and my heart is ready.

On the go in Montréal. You’d be forgiven for thinking that 24 hours in Montréal isn’t long enough to explore, but I found it to be just perfect.
After a full day of exploring, I made it (just in time, I might add) to @sofitelmontreal to catch an exclusive performance by @philharmoniedeparis for a little taste of Paris right in the heart of Montréal. The perfect quick getaway – just a few hours away from NYC, and a world apart.

I’m very much romanticizing life here in Paris, pretending that this home we’re staying in for a few days is my very own. We are spending this trip with family, and yesterday afternoon we all sat outside in the garden with fruit and cheese from the market paired with bubbles – it was so peaceful and so special to share.
