Después de esto, salgo mucho mas ligera y decidida! 🦋 This is one of my rituals before trying a route: I tell my partner “I can fall anywhere”, which for me means: I am ready to fall because I know how to fall and it’s part of climbing. Y no solo eso, por fin empece a disfrutar de la escalada!! Siempre que estoy intentando una via me vienen un montón de pensamientos a la cabeza… algunos de inseguridad, otros de empoderamiento, también ideas que no había realizado hasta ese momento.. Ya van tres semanas sin escalar! La polea sigue inflamada, poleitis se llama, es doloroso y molesto como la rotura parcial. Estoy tomándomelo con la calma, quiero recuperarlo bien y poder empezar a escalar cuanto antes! De momento sigo con esto… acompañada del mejor equipo. Gracias chicas! 🏋🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🥰 It’s been three weeks without climbing! The pulley is swollen, it is called poleitis, it is painful and annoying like a partial tear. I’m taking it easy, I want to recover well and be able to climb as soon as possible! For now I continue with this… with the best team. Cuando intento a una via por primera vez, siempre me parece muy difícil e interminable!! Después, a medida que voy conociéndola me gusta dividirla en secciones, como pequeñas pantallas que tengo que ir superando y estas pantallas me mantienen tan concentrada que de alguna manera me “olvido” de todo lo demas. Me encanta esa sensación de ir pasando de una sección a otra concentrada solo en escalar 🌀 When I try a route for the first time, it always seems very difficult and endless! Then, as I get to know it, I like to divide it into sections, like small screens that I have to overcome and these screens keep me so focused that somehow I “forget” about the outcome. Que importante es conocerte como escalador/a para progresar ~ Podemos entrenar el físico hasta reventar pero eso no va a hacer que te sientas mejor escalador/a. Cómo responder a los pensamientos que se te pasan por la cabeza cuando crees que no puedes mas, aceptar la incomodidad de decidir hacer un paso sabiendo que probablemente te vas a caer… todas esas situaciones y muchas otras se dan cuando escalamos y si no las practicas van a ser una barrera para progresar. No siempre es una cuestión de miedo, tal vez es solo una situacion nueva que nunca has practicado 😊 How important it is to know yourself as a climber to progress ~ We can train our physique until we burst but that is not going to make you feel like a better climber. How to respond to the thoughts that go through your head when you think you can’t take it anymore, how to accept the discomfort of making the decision to take a step knowing that you are probably going to fall… All of these situations and many others occur when we climb, and if you don’t practice them they will be a barrier to your progress.
