Daniella Monet Instagram – Can I be real with you for a sec?😑
I think there is often this all or nothing approach to a lot of things in life, including our food labels (ie vegan, vegetarian, etc.). It totally works for some, butttt…
The all or nothing is just not attainable for some people, I get it.
I personally have been vegan for so long, that it was never really difficult to transition or have the people around me adjust (shout out to my family and friends for always looking out for me).🥹 Plus, I personally do it for the animals, amongst many other reasons 🐖🐄
But,
I’m here to say that something is ALWAYS better than nothing. If you can’t go mostly plant-based or vegan, or don’t want to be confined by a label, then do what is best for you. Daniella’s Digest is for everyone. We are inclusive to wherever you are in your journey to show up for yourself, animals the 🌍
Do you want to only eat vegan 1x a week? Maybe you only do weekdays as a plant-based eater? Or just generally want to up your fiber intake for health reasons?
Cool. Our app is here for you. Our membership is here for you. Our coaches are here for you.
There are so many people that tell me, ‘D, I could never go vegan because I love cheese too much.’ Or ‘D, I can’t go vegan because I love fish.’
How about just eating plant-based a few times a week, when you can, or when it feels intuitively right for you?
What would happen If everyone stopped eating meat one day a week?
Well in the US alone, 1.4 billion animals would be spared annually and we could save an estimated 100 billion gallons of water each year.
Wild, right? 🤯
Personally, I think this is the best approach to getting the general population to eat less animal products as a whole, and then people can transition to veganism if they want to (we have lotssss of recipes for you 😉)
