Edy Ganem Instagram – I’ve been considering sharing some of the stuff I tape. So I thought I’d start with this cold read I did very recently. It’s a scene from @ozark and I wasn’t trying to impersonate the actress. I just did my own read.
Cold read means I read it and did it without having time to prepare it and study it. I did a couple takes. At the end of the scene it’s supposed to be “you tell me who he is, you tell me where he is, you tell me his name” but I said “tell me who he is, tell me where he is, tell me his name” – I always try to get my lines down but I personally don’t think small mistakes like these matter that much specially for a cold read and even more so for emotional scenes like these. They’re very demanding and they take a lot of energy, I always feel so tired after these kind of scenes.
