One thing I’ve learned recently is that faith isn’t a response to an outcome. It isn’t an absolute characteristic that you inherit. Faith is a practice. It is something you must strengthen within yourself so it can be a way of life.
For so long, having unwavering trust and confidence in something felt almost impossible for me. It almost felt naive; as if having 100% trust in something was sheer ignorance. But what I’m learning as I grow older is that faith is a choice. Ignorance comes from not choosing for yourself what you want to believe, and how you want to handle the situation. You can either learn to worry or learn to trust. Both choices don’t aid or hinder the outcome, but one can make the journey more peaceful.
So, whatever difficulty you may be experiencing right now, I challenge you to lean on faith. Whether it be in your religion or simply in yourself, trust that things are working in your favor. ❤️
