We give autism families a chance to experience the airport and a flight taxing around and simulated takeoff. I wish I had something like this for RJ before we had to do our flights when he was a little boy. He loves to fly now, but when he was three, it was kind of a nightmare, and there wasn’t a lot of awareness and acceptance back then. He would go on sensory overload.
