We shot this cover story last October in LA, just before the magazine had to shut down due to the obvious until its recent reopening earlier this year. I remember the morning of October 10th – after one of the heavier nights of missile strikes back on our home soil and sleepless hours of checking in with our loved ones, there was a certain feeling of stillness, grief and gratitude for the chance to be together. Wearing my grandmother’s embroidered vyshyvanka along with pieces from a group of Ukrainian fashion legends – all tagged.
