Jerrie Johnson Instagram – Wow it’s been 4 years. As I was making this reel it started to hit me how much this project has meant to me. Sometimes we can’t feel the bigness of a moment while we’re standing in it. The best confirmation is that this is exactly what I asked for coming out of grad school. To be a series regular on a set that’s fun, loving, and exciting. To be around people who make me laugh, who push me to be better, and who advocate for my needs. To be in a space where I see black women thriving and on a show that doesn’t perpetuate harmful stereotypes. To have some excellent writing to work with 😏 and to be able to grow to my fullest potential. @harlemonprime has been EXACTLY that for me 🤍
