Joanne Peh Instagram – It truly takes a village to pull off an event like the Star Awards, and the level of preparation behind the scenes is something I can’t even describe! From selecting clothes and jewelry months in advance, to coordinating hair and makeup, call-times, rehearsals, pre-shoots and making sure we’re all in top form—it’s a whirlwind that keeps the entire industry alive with excitement. I’m not sure how many of you caught the show or were aware of event, but you have to see the two stunning outfits I wore last night, thanks to my stylist @martyzwong, My flawless make-up was by @shashamsi and look simple but not easy hair by @im_jia_9607 and @ryan_yap from #passionhairsalonsg. While I didn’t take home an award this time, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support from everyone who believed in me, who have me a pat and a hug and wished me well. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and this isn’t the end—it’s just another step in my journey.
