Joely Richardson Instagram – Mum and David Hockney. David and my Pa grew up together , both Bradford ( West Yorkshire ) boys. They stayed close til my Papa’s passing, and David has kindly hosted us since. The famous pool and its painting that we were lucky enough to swim in ( or play in when empty- Daisy, me, Ma pretending to paddle) . David and my Pa went to London as young men, then both fell in love with California.
