“I will always remember when the stars fell down around me and lifted me up above the George Washington Bridge.”—Faith Ringgold, Tar Beach I’ve had this print since I was a kid. It was a gift because the book Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold was an all time favorite. It would have been the first artwork to call my own and has been and will continue to be a guiding light in my life. Rest in power Faith. 1930-2024
