Kaniehtiio Horn Instagram – In other amazing news my mother turned 84 a couple days ago. I am so grateful to have such a vibrant healthy strong and spicey elder for a mother. I truly admire her ability to listen and learn from mistakes, she has taught me that no matter how old you are there is no excuse to cease growing and evolving as a human and to remain compassionate, empathetic but still fight the good fight against her number one enemy- colonialism. Radical in more ways than one. She’s always had her people and her community at the forefront of her mind and has never done it for the glory because if anything she’s gotten more shit and disrespect from everyone than accolades and yet she still persists.
