Kasi Lemmons Instagram – Our beloved and hilarious friend, Howard Hessman, has left us. We cherished every moment of his friendship. He made us laugh till it hurt. He could use language like no one I’ve ever met – a wonderfully comedic wordsmith. He was a brilliant writer of long, witty, eloquent emails; a passionate recommender of books and music. A very opinionated shopping companion. He was also the minister who married us, a flower in his teeth, on a boat off the coast of St. Tropez. He and beloved Caroline are part of the village that raised my children and will forever be family. I will miss you, Daddy-O. But I know you’re making the angels laugh (and appreciate jazz!)
