We are so grateful to @katebushmusic for supporting War Child by donating two sets of signed boxsets (one standard and one in Braille) of “The Boxes of Lost at Sea” for auction. These beautiful wall-mountable art boxes each contain one side of the Hounds of Love album, each UV printed with illustrations. In addition to the signed boxes Kate will be donating to War Child a percentage of the profits from every box sold.
Kate says: “The idea was to create a hybrid of an album and a piece of artwork you could hang on the wall. They’re based on something I designed for an auction for War Child. This fundraising auction, Little Pieces from Big Stars, was curated by Brian Eno back in 1994. Kate was happy to see this ITV news clip from the time of David Bowie admiring the original artworks.
“The Boxes of Lost at Sea” would make an incredibly special gift for Kate Bush fans, so please go to the link in our bio and support children affected by conflict all around the world.
