Packing for travels and I want the outfits to match the guitar. Not so easy with a bold azure blue. 💃🏻😎

Having the greatest time on stage at Bluesfest, seeing all your smiling faces has made me so happy! it is also truly wild to see the magic our crew weave, the tempo they do the change over between the last band on stage and our show is insane, something to behold!! get to do it one final time tomorrow here at @bluesfestbyronbay before heading to Sydney and Melbourne. Thank you for the support, the warmth and inspiration.💃🏻 📸 @2075manuel Steve Lane & @sumit.k.bothra

Thank you to Maya Jaggi for bringing the first ever Georgian programme to the Oxford Literary Festival. It was a total joy to hear Aka Morchiladze and Dato Turashvili talk about their books and Georgian literature. I particularly found Dato’s answer to a question from an audience member on whether Georgians should be reading Russian literature very touching. His response was, “Yes, of course we should be reading Russian literature, because it’s simply great literature.” Great literature rises above politics and tribalism. I know this can be such a delicate topic right now and this is why it is so essential to be promoting Georgian language and culture internationally. One of my favourite cool facts about the Georgian language is that there are no gender pronouns so ‘He stole my cat,’ is identical to ‘She stole my cat.’ Follow the link in the profile to hear what the Georgian language sounds like. #OLF2024 #oxfordliteraryfestival

What an honour to be back in Australia after almost 15 years! We are here for Bluesfest and two (sold out!) headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. I’ve had the pleasure of spending the last couple of days in Brisbane working with @stephenlanebass, @yungbillydavis, and @angryb.albert – my magnificent local band. Big thanks to @hopecentre_brisbane for hosting us. Here’s a little video of our time so far. X @bluesfestbyronbay #bluesfest #bluesfestbyronbay
So honoured to be joining Maya Jaggi at the Oxford Literary Festival for the launch of the Georgian programme. We’ll hear from eminent writers from Georgia; Aka Morchiladze and Dato Turashvili and I’ll be talking about writing a record in the town where Stalin was born. Here are a few pics from my time in and around Gori, Georgia. #OLF24 #oxfordliteraryfestival
