Just because we are gluten free and eating cleaner doesn’t mean we can’t indulge!!! Everyone went nuts for these!!
These are TWIX BARS!! But so much healthier
Who’s making them??
Crust:
1 cup almond flour
3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/4 tsp salt
caramel center
• 1/3 cup almond butter (or nut butter of.choice)
• 3 tbsp raw honey or pure maple syrup
• splash of vanilla
Melt chocolate with some coconut oil for the coating
Start by mixing the crust ingredients together (too dry add more sweetener too wet more almond flour )
Bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes til crust is browned on top. Let cool completely (I put it in the fridge)
Cut into strips
Add your “caramel”
#let that set in the freezer
Melt chocolate and dip your bars in
Set in freezer
Enjoy!!!
