Kumiko Love Instagram – Yesterday, I received a message asking, “When I set goals, I dream too big, and then I get discouraged knowing that I will probably never reach my dreams in my lifetime. How do you dream big without feeling defeated or discouraged, knowing you will never get there?”
When I stopped telling myself I would never have something and removed the word “impossible” from my vocabulary, I had a very different mindset about dreaming big. You can dream big and find balance with reality.
You will never have the opportunity to surprise yourself if you never take action. You can never look beyond your current circumstances unless you have big dreams.
If you haven’t already, I suggest you create a vision board. I bought my board from Amazon, and I like to fill it with pictures and aspirations.
When you create a vision board, you are externalizing your intentions and creating a tangible reminder of what you are working towards. It can help you clarify your goals, keep you focused on your aspirations, and motivate you to take action towards achieving them.
Don’t just fill it with the things you want. Print out pictures that make you feel good, give you hope, and motivate you. Let it be a source of inspiration—a constant reminder of where you are heading and the life you want to live.
I have found that promoting visualization in my life is a key component of my success. It’s all about aligning your thoughts, dreams, and actions!
Do you have a vision board?
