Over the last 20 years I’ve carried out tradition of waking up every day the week of Easter and enjoying a slice of Italian sweet bread dunked in some coffee as a way of celebrating all week long and taking us back to a time and place. This is now a treasured tradition with my own little family and friends and you simply can’t walk into any grocery store or bakery in Jersey/PA/NY this week without seeing these lining the shelves and lines of people out the door trying to get their hands on one. It’s simply sensational, eaten fresh the day of so it’s soft and fluffy then it dries out (it’s meant to!!) and becomes perfect for coffee Dunkin! Simply the best!!
