Laurel Holloman Instagram – So I was saving some of my favorites for last. @claudinegilgallery offered me another space @museumaritim @fiabarcelona once they saw the beginnings of some new studies I was working on for a large mural show. I really wanted to get back to some paintings that had a symbolic nature. I did some large scale murals in 2013 and 2014 for My exhibition in Berlin and than later for Paris. Which included The Necessity of Affection and The Secret Language of Whales and Lea Mattarella… the curator of All the World Inside kept saying please explore this language further. But I moved toward painting with a certain movement and I wanted more dimension. So I thought. Why not. I can just test it out on paper. I will post the full collection with titles soon. So thank you @claudinegilgallery Im really excited to share this new collection.
