I still catch myself smiling when I think about this comp. I’m not the type to write long posts but I feel like this one deserves it.
For the first time during this Olympic qualifying period, I had a really great prep and I wanted to take advantage of it. I wanted to show how I’m still as strong as I was before my weight cut.

I’m now tied in second place in the Olympic qualifier ranking.
And unofficially qualified for my second Olympic Games. 🥹
The level of this competition was incredible. Multiple Olympic champions and multiple world champions in the same session. Being able to medal at this event was as big as winning the Olympics. Unfortunately, sport is what it is, some athletes saw their Olympic dream shattered. I want to congratulate all of them who showed up and worked their **ses off. Your courage and your story is inspiring.
@spencergarnold and @dogle , thank you for believing in us. Thank you for bringing my Olympic dream a reality. After winning at Tokyo 2020, I felt like an impostor but after this last competition, I know I belong with the best of this sport.
