It seems as of late the world is filled with mean spirited people. Increasingly dark energy. I had to take a step back as I was tempted to let my good nature go in my defense. I finally grew resentful toward the ignorant. Those who believe that kindness is weakness. The betrayals… the exploitation that leaves so much room for abuse. The slander… campaigning (gossip.) The predatory marketing and entrapment. I could have grown crops with my tears. It’s in these moments you have to be sure you know who you are… fore the devil is most pleased to corrupt the hearts and minds of good people. The darkness will always follow the light. It shows up in the form of a desperate person who’s really just in need of your energy. They reveal themselves as vampires. A desperate person who “wants the best for you” so they’re possessive and mentally abusive. A desperate person who admires you so; they cannot control the urge to spread negativity about you so they may be able to catch up a bit in this invisible race where they’ve already deemed themselves a loser and you a winner. They justify demeaning behavior toward you because “you think you’re better than everyone.” Although the pedestal THEY put you on is in their head… clearly they are the one thinking in your favor.
