I mean, have you ever really thought about what 400 years of occupation must’ve been like? Think of how many generations of Greeks had to live under Ottoman rule and in fear of their lives. 16-20 generations of Greeks were never free, but preserved our heritage under the toughest of circumstances. And for that, I am forever grateful. 🇬🇷
