It was created by an amazing woman, a first of her kind that I know of. I was shocked that her words, written so long ago, resonate so poignantly today. So, to kick off Women’s History Month, I want to formally introduce you to Ms. Florence Scovel Shinn, a Jersey girl born in the late 1800s. This American artist and book illustrator became known as a New Thought spiritual leader and Metaphysical writer. Her first book, “The Game of Life and How to Play It,” garnered her worldwide fame by assisting people from all walks of life. Florence, a profound teacher who referred to her teachings as affirmations, empowered the masses to harness the power of the spoken word. This set them on the magical path of intuition to triumph in life’s significant challenges.
