Does talking on the phone weird anyone else out? Like, Here you are using your voice to have someone else hear you in a place that’s not where you are because you hold a little device up to your ear. It totally throws me off and messes up my state of mind. Why am I so complicated?!?
When I have it all together, I feel like this photo looks. And sometimes I feel like a whoopie cushion. I’ll be honest, I’ve only been observantly Jewish for the last year now. 36 years of my life were spent doing whatever I wanted with no regard to my faith and what it means to be Jewish. And yet, for some reason, whe. I make choices that live outside the realm of the laws and commandments of Judaism, I feel a tiny bit of my soul leave my body. Even after so many years of not caring. Some would say it’s religious guilt, but I don’t attend Synagogue (though I do listen to Torah whenever I get a chance ie. Driving or showering) and I view faith as a personal relationship with Hashem..not a specific place you need to go or be (Hashem is with you, always) and this lifestyle is a choice I am making. But to be an individual on this earth…to be put here by Hashem because Hashem couldn’t imagine a world without YOU..is a huge responsibility and not acknowledging that feels wrong. Nothing in life has made more sense than when I began to put my faith I to practice. It’s like my soul can see the sun even in the darkest night…and I wish that kind of light and joy for all of you. I guess what I’m saying is…we are all made of the ssme stuff. No matter where we come from or what we look like..but at the end of the day..all we “have”..all we think is ours will pass away and faith is all we have left. Don’t ignore yours. 💗

Feeling a little empty today. Feeling like I’m missing out on life a little but after a very productive and meaningful time away. Will it come back? I guess we have to wait and see.

All these headshots are reminding me how I was obsessed with getting headshots. It was like I was after the perfect shot. **the perfect shot does not exist**. But it did leave me with a ton of IG content. Oh yea, and I’m playing pickleball today!!!!!

Shabbat Shalom!!!! For my Jewish friends, I invite you to light Shabbos candles tonight. Feel the light. Be the light. 🙂 Even if you have never done it before…today is the best time to start. No day but today! It just may bring a smile to your face. Go out, buy some candles, maybe even some candlesticks. Pick up some delicious challah and grape juice or your favorite wine and whoever you are with tonight, (I’ll be with @basichalfwhitegirl !!!) Feel what it is like to go through the process of getting ready and prepped for Shabbos and then tonight, at 6:46 pm…start Shabbat! Why not! Ill leave the Shabbos, wine and challah prayers is my stories. Then try to put down your phone and turn your eyes up at what’s around you..right here, right now…or think about where you WANT to be and put yourself there. Focus on the present moment and try to keep your thoughts in the now. Have a wonderful Shabbos and weekend. I hope you do all the things your heart sets out to do!

That one time I looked like a fairy princess. Loved this look. So much has changed. As an observant Jewish Female, I now only wear clothes that color my collar bone and elbows. But I’ve found so much cute modest fashion that I don’t miss these days at all!
