This month, we have an incredible cover with the icon Youssra, but still have more surprises. “The Arab world is perhaps one of the regions where television and cinema are almost sacred – maybe only matched by Hollywood and Bollywood,” writes editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut. “Ramadan is that month when all eyes turn to the small screen, with viewers across the territory eager to consume the celebrated Ramadan series. Therefore, this month we are celebrating the power of our regional entertainment industry, and the importance of storytelling and Arab narratives”. #VogueArabia meets some of the most exciting entertainment faces, shining in front and behind that camera. حبيت مَنتِج فيديو من كواليس التصوير العزيز على قلبي لدعاية وي لشهر رمضان.
كتير بيعزّ على قلبي إني إرجع إلتقي بأصحاب وزملا بعرفن من زمان وإني إتعرّف على ناس جداد.كتير حبيت إني رجعت شتغلت مع المايسترو، مروان حامد، يلّي تعامل مع هالدعاية وكأنها فيلم قصير. وكمان انبسطت إني شفت وجوه بعرفها من قبل ضمن فريق وي وفريق العمل الرائع. وقدّيه حلو إنو إليسّا رافقتنا بصوتها الدافي.
وأنا كمان حطيت لمسة زغيرة منّي وخلّيت صور أهلي وعايلتي يرافقوني بالتصوير. إمّي معي بهالصور لإنه هاللحظات مش بس لنتذكر الناس يلّي حوالينا، بس كمان الناس يلّي خسرناهن، يلّي بيرافقونا بقلوبنا لطول العمر.

I loved editing this special #BTS of my wonderful time on the set of the latest Ramadan commercial for @telecom.egypt
It was heartwarming to be reunited with my old friends/work colleagues as well as meeting new ones. I loved working again with the maestro himself @marwanhamed who treated this commercial like a short film. I also really enjoyed seeing the friendly faces of the exceptional WE family and crew. And @elissazkh lending her vocals is really the cherry on top!
I also added my little touch by submitting a few of my own family pics. My mommy is with me in those photos because this spot is not only about remembering those around us but also those we lost. Mommy, dayman ala bali. You shall always and forever remain in my heart. I love you. 💜
