Sarah Dessen Instagram – I got really into miniatures a couple of years back, mostly because I wrote a novel (now in my closet, with many others that Just Didn’t Work) which featured a dollhouse. Minis were such a safe, quiet place to be when I was very sad and self-isolating. But in the last month or so I can feel myself moving on. I’m going to the gym. Spending time in our greenhouse planting instead of sitting inside. It’s been a long slog and I know it’s far from over. No matter what happens, I’ll always carry that hard, sad time with me in a number of ways.
For now, though, I have a new book I’m revising. Then, it goes out on submission, which is both exciting and terrifying. I’ll always love my little things. But it’s okay sometimes to go for the bigger ones. 🌸🌞🩵 | Posted on 09/Apr/2024 20:57:04
